Hard times on the homefront
These tapes were after he was repudiated by the church authorities for comments unbecoming a sane person. His thing was a popular thing in the Nazi thinking having to do with the culpability of Jewish bankers for the mess after ww one. HIs location in a parish near Detroit where Labor was trying to get going again, led him to connect communism with the same Jews and proposed instead, a religiously led labor movement that behaved nobly. He was a theorist tha some listeners found to be entertaining and perhaps right. His willingness to lead the hoi polloi in a political movement made his future as a priest somewhat tentative.
